duration - A minimum of 20 hours + workshop (optional)
The e-learning course provides a flexible way of achieving this important qualification with all learning materials supplied on a CD-ROM that can be loaded on to your own computer (see prerequisites below for required computer specification). The intermediate qualification covers the areas of management, food hygiene and HACCP and, once you have completed the e-learning syllabus, you can apply to take the exam. Please note that the exam must be taken at a registered Tkm venue which is preceded by an optional revision and exam technique session. The topics covered are:
assessment
- The course is assessed by a 2.5 hour exam. Exams need to be taken at a Tkm venue although other locations throughout the west coast and highlands of Scotland can be arranged.
qualification - Successful candidates will receive a REHIS Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate
