licensing and
drinks service
Anyone that sells or serves alcohol in a licensed premises
in Scotland requires a minimum of two hours of training. Courses available
to staff include a basic training session covering the legally required
areas, the Scottish Certficate
for Licensed Premises Staff, and the Professional Barperson's Qualification
(Award in Customer and Drinks Service). Tkm also offers the BIIAB Scottish
Certificate for Personal Licence Holders, which is required by anyone wishing
to obtain a personal
licence under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.

The Wine and Spirits Educational Trust Foundation (WSET) Foundation Certificate
in Wines is an excellent course to introduce the fundamental
principles of wine and wine service. This course also provides a ideal framework
for a corporate/team away day. For more details please see our corporate page.
